COMPANY HISTORY:
Established in 1968 by William Quall, Western Hearing &
Audiology Center has provided only the best in Hearing health care to the residents
of Southwest Washington, Northwest Oregon and the Columbia River Gorge. We were
originally located on 'C' street in downtown Vancouver, WA and moved to
the Jantzen Beach Center when it opened in the early 1970's. Bill passed
away due to a sudden heart attack in 1983 and his son Dan fresh out of WSU
assumed control. Rick joined the company in 1986 after managing an office
in Longview, WA for several years. Jim is a recent addition coming from Willoughby's
hearing aids he joined the company in 2001.
In the late 1980's the Washington
legislature recognized hearing instruments as a class A medical device and removed
the sales tax from all hearing aids, batteries, repairs and assistive
listening devices when purchased from a licensed hearing instrument
specialists. Dan and Rick both Vancouver natives decided to relocate. The
search was on for office space in Southwest Washington,
After over a year of looking for the right space we are now located on Mill
Plain Blvd. in Vancouver. The office is 2 lights west of Southwest
Washington Medical Center on the Southwest corner of Lieser & Mill
Plain across from Mike's Drug Store.
We have the latest in testing
equipment including Audiometry, Tympanometry, Video
Otoscopy Digital Speech Mapping and Real-Ear-Measurement.
Coupled with the highest quality Digital, Programmable, Advanced Compression,
and Analog hearing instruments we have the confidence to guarantee
your complete hearing satisfaction.
